ANOC

ANOC-the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), which gathers and supervises the National Olympic Committees, was established in 1968. Until this organization, the relationship between the IOC and the NOC was one-sided.

Directions of activity of ANOC; 

To ensure close cooperation between the International Olympic Committee and NOC;  

Disseminate advanced work experience and information; 

Development of projects and proposals aimed at expanding the Olympic movement and their admission to the IOC; 

Strengthening the role of NOCs in the country's sports movement;   

Training of qualified and professional personnel on organizational issues; 

 Providing extensive and comprehensive technical assistance in the construction of sports complexes and other issues.

 

African National Olympic Academy Association (ANOKA), Asian Olympic Council (Oka), Pan-American sports organization (ODEPA), European national Olympic Committees Association (AENOK), Oceania National Olympic organization (Onok) are among such organizations. The main task of these organizations is to ensure the development of Olympic sports in different continents and regions of the world.
